Zara Pfeifer: Rollrasen (Space Issues 4)

Rollrasen (“sod”) is a series of photographs and video sequences by Austrian-German artist Zara Pfeifer. It documents the team of Richter Rasen replacing the 8.000 m2 lawn at Olympic Stadium in Berlin in July 2022 and January 2023.

Space Issues is an ongoing series of publications communicating space-related insights, thoughts, projects, visual essays and research that is taking place at Sandberg’s Studio for Immediate Spaces. Space Issues aims to address notions of space between art, architecture and design and its specific political, ecological and social issues.
