Bye Bye Binary #1

Bye Bye Binary is a Franco-Belgian collective that explores new typo-graphic forms adapted to the French language, using inclusive and post-binary language and writing as a starting point, ground for experimentation and subject for research, in particular through the design of typefaces, the creation of ligatures, median points, linking elements and symbiosis.

Offering writings that are situated, by the people concerned, is essential if we are to build up a living archive of a typo-graphic practice that makes minority groups visible. This movement continues to grow, despite the accusations of those who hold the power to decide what is legible, and therefore what is visible. The Bye Bye Binary magazine fuels the debate on the political impact of graphic design, language and the representation of bodies and identities.
