General note
Typography is something that is learned by practice. Therefore this semester we will try a classroom technique called “situated learning” to practice typography, together. Each typography class we will do a series of exercises with the text you produced text in writing class. We will print the outcomes at the end of the class to look at and discuss together. We will work with your own writing to try and find detail, skill, and perhaps fun in writing and typography.
