Is this your first time in Batman? is the second publication of the project, following the organic routes of the city’s vibrant nightlife that lead to an after bar called Batman, where many cultural workers gather after their day jobs as another kind of artistic labor begins. Through these late night exchanges, this edition documents and circulates stories about the fragile economies and improvised strategies that sustain artistic practice, while giving critical reflection on the dominant capital flows and private institutions that shape cultural production.
