Radna Rumping: Shaky Ground (Stubborn Material)

Written between 2023 and 2025, Shaky Ground (Stubborn Material) is a print publication that gathers five texts and an audio piece on ephemeral art practices, the presence of others ‘in spirit,’ and ways to build and sustain arrangements that are more fragile, invisible, or intricate than those that simply repeat themselves. Along the way, artworks by Senga Nengudi, VALIE EXPORT and Marthe Ramm Fortun are encountered. Pliancy holds strength, trust sets direction, a delayed response lingers, movement continues.
