Amelie von Wulffen: Exhibitions 2018 – 2022

Since her first comprehensive monograph was published in 2017, Amelie von Wulffen (German, b. 1966) has created many new paintings and sculptures. They address emotional and also psychoanalytical issues. At the core of the interest lies the relationship between autonomy and heritage, the unconscious and the conscious, the carrying along of trauma or guilt, as well as hidden longings, fantasies or the disclosure of shame.
The book documents the exhibitions at Reena Spauling Fine Art New York / Gió Marconi Mailand / KW Institute for Contemporary Art Berlin / Établissement d’en face Brüssel / Galerie Meyer Kainer Wien.
