Gargles #1: A Clouded Complaint

Bartle is a publishing platform dedicated to the circulation of water stories through designed & printed reproductions of artists’ works. Percival Bartlebooth is a character from writer G. Perec in ‘Life, a user’s manual’ : committed with a rather absurd & beautiful task of building a jigsaw puzzles’ series of seascapes, this iconic figure embodies Bartle publications’ effort to compile and share an endless stream of ever changing liquid knowledge.
Bartle Publishing is a project initiated by Anne-Laure Ruffin, and aims to actively spread the poetical pulses of creatures inhabiting water myths, stories, and tales by compiling works by artists and thinkers.
