‘Hotel Oracle’ is a sustained visual meditation on the cosmos – what constitutes it, what its future might be, and how to reconcile the world of the supernatural with the world of the bargain store. Jason Fulford’s photographs of people and places seek clues and signs of the prophetic and the spiritual, intermingling them with the banal and the nonsensical. Strung together with a poetic narrative, the images are as diverse as they are enigmatic, and were taken in locations around the world: the United States, Canada, Bermuda, Italy, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Czech Republic, Poland, South Korea, Japan, and India.
