Niels Bekkema: Bowl, Kom, Glow, Gloed, Vase, Vaas

Niels Bekkema wrote the prose poems of ‘Bowl, Kom, Glow, Gloed, Vase, Vaas’ as part of a larger writing project titled: ‘The Sun Becoming An Island – Het Eiland Wordt Een Zon’. In this project, he explores the ability of languages to shape and influence each other, how they can speak to and extend each other, and how translation can become the site of of rewriting and editorial work.
