Opwallen

Opwallen is an initiative of  Loom | practice for cultural transformation , a collective of curators, critics, and researchers who have been active in the Red Light District for years, visualizing its often hidden gaps. Based on their experience with urban imagination and societal transitions, they saw these “in-between spaces” as an opportunity to renew the city at a micro-level by building on existing buildings. The executive board of the Centrum district, which includes the Red Light District, supports the project through its Binnenstad Approach program.
