Sebastian Black: Circle and Square
‘Circle and Square’ are fraternal twin shapes growing up in a college town in upstate New York. Minoru is a world renowned modernist architect floundering in a Detroit suburb. When Minoru happens upon a photograph of ‘Circle and Square’ at their summer camp, he closes his practice and sets out on a quest to find the two shapes who, by their sheer existence, may have realized the avant-garde’s paradoxical imperative to erase the boundary between art and life.
