Tomaso Binga: Euforia
Rooted in the language of visual and sound poetry, the practice of Tomaso Binga (Bianca Pucciarelli Menna; Salerno, 1931) is based on the ironic and acute questioning of the idea of gender: not only an identity value, but also a way to reconsider the social roles, rights and opportunities traditionally associated with women. The monograph, edited by Eva Fabbris, Lilou Vidal and Stefania Zuliani, with Anna Cuomo, explores her work through a lexicon (Agorà, Biographies, The Body of the Word, Correspondences, Geographies, Vaginal Value) with a selection of poems by the artist.
