San Serriffe is a bookstore located in Amsterdam’s Red Light District.

Alongside the book selection San Serriffe runs an extensive weekly event program. Currently we are also working on long term projects with Bruno Zhu and Werker Collective and occasionally collaborate with initiative HTSU Cooperative. Check our event page for past and upcoming events.

Please get in touch if you need any assistance accessing the store. The entrance has a doorstep but there is a ramp we can put in place. Our toilet is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible.

This website is designed by Elisabeth Klement and programmed by wwwstuudio. The shop interior is designed by Kaisa Sööt. Our current wrapping paper is made by Riet Wijnen.

San Serriffe’s current team is Nor Akelei, Elisabeth Klement, Catherine Hu, Francesca Lucchitta, Will Pollard, Mehmet Süzgun and Pieter Verbeke.
