RESOLUTION #1: Hot Pictures

RESOLUTION is a yearly print magazine that explores the impact of the digital image.

Its first issue ‘Hot Pictures’ takes on the ecological paradox digital images present us with: they offer novel ways to visually depict environmental destruction and climate change, while their production and circulation simultaneously pollutes and heats up the planet. Prompted by our guest editors Kyveli Mavrokordopoulou and Giacomo Mercuriali, Hot Pictures seeks to inhabit the muddy terrain at the heart of this jarring contradiction.
