Friday April 26, 6pmCC3(shoegaze) explores the idea of spelunking, descending down into a mine or a cave. This idea is transposed onto the narrator’s objectless frustration resulting from feelings of uncertainty surrounding a move of apartments. It appears as a wish to retire into self-deception, as in the allegory.
The narrator wants to turn their back on the Sun, hoping to find solace in the safe embrace of false projections on a wall. Structured as a sequence of meandering tangential thoughts without a clear through line or centre, the course quickly becomes lost as everything begins to blend into each other.
