MsHERESIES #5: We Are Going to Lose

Thursday March 2, 8pm‘MsHeresies 5 — We Are Going to Lose’ republishes a selection of texts from Lola Olufemi’s book Experiments in Imagining Otherwise (Hajar Press, 2021). The texts are typeset within a collage of material from the archive of Mukti (1983–7), a publication made by the London-based South Asian feminist collective of the same name. Interviews with Mukti members Chila Kumari Burman and Amina Patel are typeset on the centerspread.
MsHeresies is an inquiry into collaborative graphic design practices and the ornamental as a form of work critique. It is made by Elisabeth Rafstedt and Johanna Ehde, cofounders of Rietlanden Women’s Office.
